Our facilities offer access to industry-standard studios, kit, and creative spaces built for innovation, collaboration, and pushing boundaries.
From lecture spaces and cutting-edge computer labs to immersive pre-vis suites to rehearsal studios, this is where you turn ideas into action, and training into career-ready experience. Giving you the dedicated space to learn the theory, before bringing it to life with hands-on practical classes.

Education spaces
Primarily used for lighting and visuals teaching alongside hosting industry masterclasses, split this studio into two bays for a flexible training space. When not used for teaching, Studio 002 becomes our dedicated campus events space throughout the year.
5,000 sq ft of industry-standard studio space - the largest teaching studio on campus. Fully flexible, split into three bays or open out into one main studio, with breakout seating for chalk-and-talk alongside practical, hands-on sessions.
Home to XPLOR’s Centre for Virtual Production, Studio 004 is our extended reality (XR) space. With LED video wall by ROE Visual, Disguise media servers and capacity for Unreal Engine environments, this space pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in production.
Predominantly used for sound-focused teaching and practical sessions including band rehearsals and R&D. The studio mezzanine can be used for FOH, workshops, and toolbox talks - supporting full-scale projects and practical teaching from brief to realisation.
Just a 2-minute walk from campus, this multi-functional space supports practical sessions, interactive workshops, lectures, and group work - designed for flexibility and hands-on, collaborative learning.
Our largest lecture space on campus - used for cross-course sessions, industry talks, and seminars. A flexible environment that also supports training, workshops, and smaller-scale practical lessons.
Located in Studio 001’s ancillary spaces, this flexible room supports seminars and group work - ideal for exploring industry context, legislation, and the critical thinking that underpins professional live production practice.
Located in Studio 005 within Lecture Room 1, this classroom space is ideal for group seminars, workshops and presentations. The room can be used for co-working or individual study.
20 custom-built computers fully equipped with software geared for 3D & CAD drawing, pre-visualization, digital media and content creation, media server training, lighting and audio programming, playback software and more.
18 software-packed computers with dual monitors, fully equipped with lighting, audio and visuals programming and patching including Avolites Titan Simulator, Vectorworks, Isadora, and more.

A compact computer lab dedicated to immersive software training and practical experimentation across lighting, audio, and visual technologies, providing hands-on learning opportunities in a focused, tech-driven environment.
Located on the mezzanine in Studio 003, this flexible space offers 8 computers for academic work, project planning, or group meetings - ideal before, during, or after sessions.
A high-spec space equipped with Alienware machines, top-tier graphics cards and wall-mounted displays - ideal for rendering, simulation, and creative exploration in Unreal Engine, Blender, TwinMotion and more.
Need an extra powercon true cable? Missing that all important HDMI? Stores is your go to place for all your equipment needs. Housing all of our industry-standard kit from truss to video wall.
Communal spaces
CentR Stage sits at the heart of Production Park, serving up the food that keeps the whole campus running. But it’s more than just a place to eat – it’s the hub and meeting point for everyone on campus. Complete with pool table and home to our ALT darts league.
A welcoming space to relax, play a game of Wii, or take a break. Home to the on-campus library, student printing, and a range of health and wellbeing resources - open anytime for students to use throughout the day.
A versatile space for focused work or creative collaboration - plug in at open desks, relax on the sofas, or dive into board games, magazines, and mindfulness. Ideal for production meetings, group work, or downtime.
