Quality Officer

Location: Production Park, UKReporting to: Director of Learning, Quality & StandardsContract: PermanentHours: 20 hours per week, 2.5 days per week (typical working day 08:30 - 17:30)Salary: £15,000 - £17,500 (dependent on experience)

The Academy of Live Technology is seeking a part time Quality Officer to support our Quality & Standards team. This role will help ensure compliance with Ofsted, funding, and quality frameworks while driving continuous improvement across our FE bootcamps and training provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor quality assurance processes for short courses and bootcamps.
  • Prepare documentation for Ofsted inspections and audits.
  • Support staff with training, coaching, and assessment quality.
  • Analyse learner outcomes and feedback to inform improvements.
  • Contribute to policy, procedures, and quality handbook development.

About You

  • Experience in FE quality assurance (bootcamps/short courses).
  • Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and audit requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) – ideally in Education/Quality.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.

Desirable, but not essential: Relevant CPD Certification, IQA/TAQA, or professional experience.
